Lodestone Plus: Enhancing Browsing History on Chrome
Lodestone Plus is a free Chrome add-on developed by yasuna that extends the functionality of Lodestone, a popular website for Final Fantasy XIV players. This add-on enhances the browsing experience by displaying the browsing history and ordering it by the newest comments.
With Lodestone Plus, users can now view their browsing history conveniently on the right side of the screen. The add-on also displays the time of each visit in a user-friendly format, such as "X minutes ago" or "X days ago". The browsing history is sorted in descending order, with the most recent visits appearing at the top.
Managing the browsing history is made easy with Lodestone Plus. Users can hover over each history entry and click on the trash can icon to delete it. Duplicate entries are streamlined to only show the latest visit time, reducing clutter. Additionally, clicking on the gear icon opens the settings page, where users can delete their entire browsing history.
Lodestone Plus also enhances the experience when browsing diaries and Free Company forums. When opening a thread, the add-on automatically sorts the comments in the "newest comments" order. The browsing history now also displays the comment count and number of likes, which are updated every minute. The comment count shows the number of comments added since the user's last visit, indicated within parentheses.
This add-on, currently at version 1.0, also introduces English language support, making it accessible to a wider audience. Lodestone Plus is a valuable tool for Final Fantasy XIV players who want to enhance their browsing experience on the Lodestone website.
